22 week bumpdate {+ gender reveal}

I hope you all had a fantastic holiday! We had a wonderful couple of days with family and are ecstatic to share our news. I was thinking boy and Jeff was thinking girl – we’re both thrilled :)

Now that the BIG news is over, it’s on to the 22 week bumpdate…

22 Week Survey

This week, baby is the size of a: spaghetti squash

Due date: May 1

Gender: Girl! We had our anatomy ultrasound last week, but we waited until Christmas to spill the news to our families. We couldn’t be more delighted to add another daughter to our family and I can’t wait to see Eleanor become a big sister!

Exercise: I’ve been very consistent with my workouts lately – yay! Eleanor is enjoying kid’s care at the gym, so I have much more flexibility. Still loving my Mommy Fitness classes and I’ve recently started swimming again – my bikini bod looks a little different these days ;)

Maternity clothes: I’m 100% in maternity clothes and it’s time to go shopping for new bras!

Belly button: Out, out, out!

Sleep: Sleep has been great lately! I still try to sneak a quick nap most days though – growing a baby is tiring!

Food cravings/aversions: None really – I’m just really loving sugar (I need to get it under control)

Symptoms: Some tailbone pain, stretching/tenderness around my belly button and mild heartburn (ick)

Movement: On Monday the little flutters I felt turned into full-fledged kicks. Both Eleanor and Jeff have been able to feel baby girl’s punches. I can even see her movements now – crazy stuff!

Labor signs: Nope

What I miss: Nothing – loving pregnancy right now :)

What I’m loving: Our ultrasound last week was a huge highlight! Seeing our little baby girl on screen happy and healthy was amazing. She was incredibly active and we got a really good look at her waving her arms and smacking her lips. She measured right on track and weighed in at a whopping 14 ounces! I can’t wait to meet her :)
