Happy Halloween! I hope you all have fun plans for the weekend! We’ll be taking our little train conductor out for some Halloween festivities. Before I say farewell for the weekend, I thought I’d give my first “bumpdate” for Baby #2. I will only be doing these every two weeks as a long time can go before anything changes during pregnancy. It may seem silly to document, but I can’t even begin to count the number of times I’ve looked back at my pregnancy updates from Eleanor. It’s such a special time that passes far too quickly!
Before we dive into week 14, I have a little catching up to do. I wrote about my 1st trimester here, but I haven’t shared a bump photo. I feel like I “popped” super early this time around – here’s baby #2 at 12 weeks:
This week, baby is the size of a: lemon
Due date: May 1
Gender: Too early to know (we’ll find out late mid-December)
Exercise: Much better this week! Getting back into running and some simple weight training
Maternity clothes: Using the hair tie trick on my pants and wearing lots of leggings!
Belly button: In, but probably not for much longer! (It’s eager to “pop” this time around)
Sleep: Still sleeping on the couch so that I can be semi-upright. It helps with the nausea, plus then I don’t disturb Jeff every time I have to pee ;)
Food cravings/aversions: No cravings or aversions lately. Sour stuff is good for the nausea though
Symptoms: Fatigue and mild nausea in the evening. My boobs have also finally caught on that I’m pregnant.
Movement: Too early, but I’m hoping to feel something in the next few weeks
Labor signs: WAYYYY too early for that nonsense
What I miss: Not feeling sick
What I’m loving: Sharing our news and knowing I’ll have another baby to love on in just a few months :)
What are your Halloween plans?
