Hello! I’m stopping in today with a quick “bumpdate!” We have a busy weekend planned with lots of friends and good food – does it get any better than that? I’ll be spending my day scrambling to clean my house and prepare for the craziness :)
Now onto baby #2…
This week, baby is the size of an: avocado
Due date: May 1, 2015
Gender: We’ll find out mid-December
Exercise: After a weekend of travel, no exercise, and too much food, I’ve been back on track with my workouts this week! Trying to keep up a mix of running and swimming – plus, chasing a toddler!
Maternity clothes: Wearing maternity tops exclusively now. My bump seems to have moved up and my bloat has subsided, so some pre-pregnancy pants still button. I’m using hair ties on the rest and avoiding maternity pants as long as possible!
Belly button: Depends on how much I eat, haha! It can definitely be seen poking out of some tops, and my little stretch marks from being pregnant with Eleanor are visible again.
Sleep: Better! Still on the couch, but I don’t wake up nearly as often.
Food cravings/aversions: I’ll eat anything and everything you put in front of me :)
Symptoms: Feeling some round ligament pain from everything stretching out again, but other than that, I’ve been feeling great!
Movement: There have been several times this week where I thought I felt baby, but I’m not 100% sure.
Labor signs: Nope
What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach
What I’m loving: Having my energy back!
My sweet Eleanor just melts my heart – she’s going to be SUCH a good big sister! She plays so nicely with her baby dolls, sings to them, rocks them, and hugs them saying “ooooh my baby.” I hope she’s just as smitten with her little sibling :)
