I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Ours was just perfect – family time and lots of good food! I can’t wait to tell you more about a baking adventure my mom and I had :)
In the meantime, it’s time to check in with baby #2! We’re already at 18 weeks and in the next month we’ll be finding out if the littlest Murnan is a Mister or a Miss!
18 Week Survey
This week, baby is the size of a: bell pepper
Due date: May 1, 2015
Gender: We’ll find out mid-December
Exercise: I’ve started classes at Mommy Fitness the past couple of weeks. I have loved slowing down and focusing on my body and the baby during Prenatal Yoga! I’m still trying to keep up a regular running routine as well.
Maternity clothes: I’m already hating pants, haha! Expect lots of dresses and tunic/legging combos in my future :)
Belly button: Out! I have diastasis recti pretty bad since my pregnancy with Eleanor, and the split in my abs leaves plenty of opportunity for my belly button to poke out.
Sleep: I’m back in my bed! I bought a Snoogle pregnancy pillow that has made a world of difference in my sleep. I wake up a lot to change positions, but that’s just one of the realities of a growing belly.
Food cravings/aversions: No big cravings or aversions. I eat lots of small meals throughout the day and totally made the most of another pregnant Thanksgiving :)
Symptoms: I’ve been feeling much more like myself the past couple of weeks. Having some round ligament pain from the stretching going on, but nothing too terrible. My chest has also grown and is more tender – bring on the nursing bras!
Movement: I can definitely feel baby moving and grooving in my belly. He/she is still very low, and it just feels like little flutters and pops. It won’t be long before those gentle movements turn into rib kicks ;)
Labor signs: Nope
What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach and buttoning my pants
What I’m loving: Hearing our baby’s heartbeat at our appointment last week! That sound never ceases to be magical :)
I had to include my fur baby Ruby this week too – she loves crashing my pregnancy shots :)
Are you out braving the Black Friday crowds?
