It’s FRIDAY! And that means it’s time for another “bumpdate!” I’m 26 weeks today which means the next time we chat about baby girl, I’ll be in my 3rd trimester.
Everything has been going very smoothly. I had a doctor’s appointment last week, and baby was measuring right on track. I’m getting anxious to get the house ready for her arrival, and Jeff keeps reminding me that we still have plenty of time – try telling that to my hormones ;)
Here’s the bump at 26 weeks:
26 Week Survey
This week, baby is the size of a: head of lettuce
Due date: May 1
Gender: Another sweet girl!
Exercise: I’ve been on a roll with workouts! I’m doing about 3 classes a week at Mommy Fitness and going to the gym 2-3 days a week. Exercise makes me feel wonderful and definitely helps those pregnancy aches and pains. It does wear me out though – a nap is usually necessary!
Maternity clothes: All maternity at this point!
Belly button: Out, out, out!
Sleep: Sleep hasn’t been great, but that’s been more due to a sick husband and toddler ;)
Food cravings/aversions: None really – just chugging water like a pro
Symptoms: Heartburn is back – maybe I won’t have a bald baby after all
Movement: She’s super active after I exercise and in the evenings. My belly gets all kinds of strange bulges from her arms and legs jabbing out
Labor signs: Nope
What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach
What I’m loving: I just love that we’re creeping closer and closer to meeting her! Washing up all her teeny tiny baby clothes has reminded me of what a special time infancy is – it goes SO fast!
Eleanor has been practicing her “little mommy” skills lately. She likes to pretend to change her baby’s diapers, rock her to sleep, and feed her. Looks like I’ll have plenty of help in May ;)
