Hello hello! This weekend flew by and was pretty uneventful. Jeff was in Chicago for a friend’s wedding, and I stayed back to care for my ever growing baby bump and little Miss Eleanor. My dad was kind enough to come stay with me to keep me company and help out around the house.
Rather than a weekend round-up, today I’m going to share a quick look at what life is like currently!
Eating: I recently discovered Stonyfield Greek and Chia, and I’m in LOVE! My favorite flavor is the Red Berries – these are the perfect mix of sweet and tart, and I love the texture that the chia seeds add. I’ve been devouring them as snacks or mixed into a bowl of steel cut oats. YUM!
Obsessing: Being unable to sleep comfortably has had some unexpected side-effects – late night online shopping. My recent purchases have mostly been baby related, but I did order some new nursing bras for myself that are the BEST ever! (It’s really about the small things in life when you’re 35 weeks pregnant, haha)
Reading: I just started a new book this weekend, The Selection. It’s a fairly easy read and has totally sucked me in – I NEED to know what’s going to happen next!
Watching: Like most of my fellow Netflix-ers, I decided to give Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt a try. It’s not quite as funny as 30 Rock, but it’s still pretty good! This is another late night time waster (you know, to break up all the shopping).
Splurging: The awesome ladies from Savvy Sassy Moms sent me a box of goodies over the weekend, and I was SO excited to try this Peppermint Foot Rub from Moon Valley Organics. My feet are constantly swollen and achy (yay pregnancy), so this was just the kind of pampering I needed!
It smells awesome, makes my feet smooth, and best of all – the ingredients rock! The peppermint is a natural pain-reliever, and the lavender and mint add anti-inflammatory properties. I think it’s going to become a new nighttime ritual!
What’s going on with you currently?
