holiday happenings

Hello and HAPPY Monday! Thank you all for the wonderful comments from last Friday’s post – we are overjoyed about our little GIRL arriving in May :)

We had a great Christmas together and Eleanor got lots of fun new toys to play with. I think I’m just as excited about her new kitchen as her, haha!

My sister and her girls are staying at our house through New Years Eve. It’s so much fun catching up with her and snuggling my little nieces. Eleanor is enjoying the extra playmates and is learning the some important toddler lessons about sharing and hitting – yikes! ;)

Yesterday we went to the zoo for Penguins and Pancakes. It was a really fun event and the girlies loved getting to check out the aquarium without a big crowd

The rest of the day was spent baking – the girls are becoming quite the accomplished chefs!

We have a full agenda the next few days. Eleanor wants to show her cousins all of her favorite Omaha spots – Go! Kids’ Gym, The Children’s Museum, and Noon Years Eve at the library!

Keeping up with these growing girls can be hard, but I’ve learned a little secret – they all LOVE Stonyfield yogurt. Cousin get-togethers over the holidays require stocking up on YoTot and YoKids squeezers.

Eleanor broke into my stash early and celebrated Christmas morning with her favorite Strawsome flavor. Brand new toys can’t even compete with Stonyfield for this toddler ;)

Luckily those sharing skills are coming along and she’s happy to share with her cousins – Stonyfield dog pile!

Stonyfield is also the star of our family’s favorite breakfast – Poppyseed Muffins! It’s an easy breakfast for feeding a crowd.

The girls just eat them up – you can grab the recipe for your littles here!

They make a great “on-the-go” snack too!

We’ll be packing up the leftovers to take with us to the gym today along with some squeezers –  full kiddos are happy kiddos :)

Your turn:

Did you host any family over the holidays?
What are your “go to” recipes for feeding a crowd?
