Catching up in the Kitchen

I’ve realized that doing Insanity is only half of the fitness battle. Adopting a healthy diet is going to be just as important to see results – here’s my new favorite breakfast to get my day started on the right foot:

Stonyfield French Vanilla Yogurt (1/2 container)
Bear Naked Vanilla Almond Crunch (1/4 C)
Dunkin’ Donuts Mocha Mint Coffee with skim milk (2 C)

~230 Calories / 3 grams fat

Stonyfield and Bear Naked products aren’t cheap, but I haven’t found any substitutes that I like as much. I try to use coupons as much as possible, but I think healthy options that we’ll actually eat and enjoy are well worth the investment.

J and I have gotten good at sharing servings of our breakfast. He will generally finish the other half of my yogurt and I’ll eat up the rest of the apple that he puts in his protein shakes. It’s a good way to portion control without letting anything go to waste.
