second baby registry upgrades

Thanks to buybuy BABY for sponsoring this post!

When I put together my baby registry for Eleanor, I thought I had a fairly good idea of what products made the most sense for our family. I tried to make smart decisions, and overall, I was very happy with our baby gear. However, when I found out I was pregnant for the second time, there were a few “upgrades” I wanted to make to our household infrastructure. And let me tell you, they’ve been totally, 100% worth it!

second baby registry upgrades
1. Baby Jogger City Select Stroller
This was my first big baby purchase for baby #2. The City Select can be used either has a single or double stroller. It has tons of storage, moves easily, and has all kinds of different seat configurations. Love!

2. Baby Bjorn Travel Crib Light
Ok, admittedly, this is the only product on this list that I do NOT currently have. So I guess you could say it’s still on my wish list. Our family is on the move more and more, so I would LOVE to replace our current travel crib with this Baby Bjorn option. The other mamas in Savvy Sassy Scouts swear by it. It’s incredibly light and folds up/down in a breeze.

3. Halo Bassinest
This bassinet totally transformed middle of the night feedings. It swiveled up right next to our bed, so I could easily nurse Everly without even getting out from under the covers. She slept there exclusively through the first 5 months, and now that she’s awake multiple times a night again, I really miss it!

4. 4Moms MamaRoo
The MamaRoo is a baby whisperer! It is the craziest looking spaceship contraption, but it has all sorts of different movements and speeds to calm down baby. I liked that it was up off the floor to keep Everly away from her curious big sister and kisses from the dog. It also connects to your iPhone which is pretty awesome. The newest models even have bluetooth, so you can change settings without disturbing baby – I’ll have to upgrade again for baby #3 ;)

5. Stokke Tripp Trapp
This is the newest addition to our home, and I can tell you, I’m already in love! I never liked the big, bulky, plastic-y high chair we had with Eleanor. The Tripp Trapp is a beautiful piece of furniture that grows through babyhood, toddlerhood, and beyond. Everly just beams when she sits in it!
