sunday snaps

Hi there! Can you believe it’s Monday?! We had a fun weekend around here and finally enjoyed some SUNNY weather (all this rain was starting to get me down)!

It felt like a busy couple of days, but when I look back, I didn’t really accomplish much aside from eating and playing with the girls. I guess that’s a sign of a good weekend ;)

On Sunday morning Hannah and Erin came over for Three Cooks One Kitchen – we made this absolutely delicious fritatta (and ate the WHOLE thing)! I’ll be sharing more on Thursday!

A sunny afternoon in the 80’s called for Eleanor’s kiddie pool to be filled up! She had a blast and loved pouring water on her mama’s toes to keep her cool ;)

I also spent quite a bit of time in the shade with this little pumpkin!

On Sunday night my friend Jordan came over for a cookie party! We were icing cookies to send down to Texas for my niece’s 2nd birthday. Both my girls were super needy, so Jordan did 90% of the work, haha!

My niece is having a Puppy Paw-ty, so I thought the bones would be just perfect! We also added some little paw print designs to the hearts! I still have a long way to go in my cookie decorating skills, but it’s been really fun to learn something new with a friend!

This week I’m hoping to make it to a few Mommy Fitness classes with the girls, head to the zoo and Children’s Museum, and prep for Eleanor’s 2nd birthday! I can’t believe my little lady will be 2 on Saturday!

Your turn:
What was the highlight of your weekend?
