Since moving back to Omaha (3 years ago already!), Jeff and I have made a conscious effort to take advantage of all of the wonderful opportunities our community has to offer. No matter the week, there’s always an abundance of awesome events to choose from! Admittedly, with two little girls, we’ve been spotted at more kid-friendly events in recent years than nights out on the town ;)
Jeff and I are trying to make date nights more of a priority, and we’re starting the New Year off right with a performance of The Sleeping Beauty at Omaha Performing Arts! I’ve never been to a *real* ballet before, but I know I’m in for a treat with the Moscow Festival Ballet!
Sleeping Beauty is a current favorite in our house – Eleanor got the set of princess dolls and fairies for Christmas. Plus, she can’t get enough of Jeff’s Maleficent impression, haha! I’m all brushed up on the story, and now I can’t wait to see how this classic fairytale plays out on stage!
With the main event taken care of, Jeff and I just need to pick a good restaurant for our night out! Omaha readers, give me your favorite suggestions! :)
