We had a busy weekend around here. I’m playing catch-up from last week, so I’m actually starting with Thursday. This is a photo heavy post, so I’ll try to let the pictures do the talking!
Thursday morning started with cookie decorating. Eleanor enjoyed eating the frosting off the spoon and dumping the sprinkles anywhere but the cookie. We’ll keep working on it ;)
That afternoon we went to Jeff’s office to meet Santa and have some holiday fun. Eleanor looked very festive in her reindeer dress and sparkly bow!
Meeting Santa didn’t go well, but Eleanor still had a good time getting to see her daddy in the middle of the day – love this little sass!
The setup was super cute. After Santa they had coloring and cookie decorating! I love how family focused Jeff’s new job is.
On Friday morning Eleanor joined me at Mommy Fitness for Prenatal Cardio & Strength. She had an absolute blast and I got a great workout in!
That evening I went to a girls night at my friend Molly’s house. She was super sweet and made me a pregnant lady “mocktail.” I’m not even sure what was in it, but it was delicious!
My parents were in town over the weekend, so Saturday morning Jeff and I headed out for a workout. I dropped him off at the Y and I headed to Mommy Fitness for Prenatal Yoga. It felt SO good to slow down and stretch out.
After some whirlwind shopping with my mom, we started our weekend of baking. Krumkake was up first. I’d never made it before, so I had a bit of a learning curve. I’ll share a bit more later this week!
Sunday morning Jeff and I headed downtown for the Ugly Sweater Run. We happened to meet up with Erin and Josh at the start line. We’ve done SO many 5k’s with them this year, that it was only fitting we finish off 2014 together!
I love any 5k that serves you hot cocoa before and during the race :)
Sunday ended with an epic nap and some more holiday baking. We made lefse again and perfected our technique. It turned out SO beautifully. I can’t wait to share it with family on Christmas!
With extra help this weekend, I was also able to catch up on a ton of laundry – exciting huh?! ;)
I’ve been loving WIN detergent for our athletic wear and absolutely love it. No, I still don’t LOVE laundry (as evidenced by the piles I usually have), but it leaves our loads of gym gear smelling great and totally clean while still being delicate on performance fabrics.
The Green version is my favorite because it’s hypoallergenic, fragrance free and dye free – no worries when I’m carrying around my toddler with sensitive skin!
Make sure you’re not the smelly one at the gym and check it out for yourself! Get $1 off a bottle with the code WINGIVE1.
My mom is sticking around for a couple of days, and I’m taking FULL advantage of the extra help! I even have a haircut and a prenatal massage scheduled ;)
How was your weekend?
Any time for pampering this week?
