Hello and HAPPY Monday! We had a wonderfully busy weekend, so I plan on spending a slow day at home with Eleanor while avoiding today’s FREEZING temps.
We hosted our 2nd Friendsgiving on Sunday, so Saturday was full of prep (aka – cleaning, cleaning, and MORE cleaning). During one of my many trips to Target for supplies, I spotted Eleanor’s very favorite sippy cups on clearance. I figured with another baby on the way, we couldn’t have too many on hand :)
Another totally unnecessary (but fun) purchase was a large mirrored frame to cover the wall where our TV used to be mounted. I found an instant download on Etsy that I had printed up at Walgreens to add some Thanksgiving flavor to our decor. I already have my eye on one for Christmas too!
On Saturday afternoon I attended my Prenatal Orientation at Mommy Fitness. Julie gave me tons of wonderful information on exercising safely through pregnancy and we discussed my goals for the remaining 24 weeks and postpartum.
I’m really excited to get started with their Prenatal Yoga and Prenatal Cardio & Strength classes!
Saturday evening rolled around without a trip to the gym – which Ruby subtly reminded me of by taking a snooze on my Mizuno shoes. I think going up and down a million flights of stairs while prepping this weekend was enough, but I’m looking forward to getting back to my routine this week!
Sunday rolled around and it was time to get cookin’! I’ll tell you ALL about our baking adventures later this week for Three Cooks One Kitchen. In the meantime, try to guess how this butternut squash is going to become gravy (yep, gravy – and it was DELICIOUS)!
