I’m finally getting around to sharing Eleanor’s birthday party here on the blog! Way back on June 14, family and friends helped us celebrate Eleanor’s “Berry” 1st Birthday! As you can probably tell, it was strawberry themed all the way from decor to desserts. I think everything turned out really cute and Eleanor LOVED her special day!
I was a little late getting started on invites, so we quickly printed up some cards at Walgreens and used an adorable photo from our shoot with Lady Grey Photography. (Thanks Kitty!)
The day of the party our strawberry girl was dressed up in a polka dot bubble romper from Baby Gap and a strawberry hair clip courtesy of Etsy.
I had a blast finding “berry” 1st birthday decor! The setup was complete with strawberry balloons, a watercolor strawberry and fresh strawberries piled into traditional berry baskets. (Edible decor!)
E opening her lovely, thoughtful gifts from all her guests. She needed lots of help since she mostly wanted to stop and play with each new toy that was opened :)
And a Pottery Barn toy box from mom and dad to store all her new goodies!
She had the best time partying with her guests – lots of tickles and laughs, and even some fun with sidewalk chalk!
I only teared up once at her party – I was just overwhelmed by all of the love and support we have received over the past year! Eleanor is so blessed to have so many wonderful people in her life. I can’t believe my baby is 1!
I’ll share more on her “berry” special smash cake and the yummy food we served in a post later this week!
Your turn:
What’s your favorite party theme?
